Coaching Education

There are a number of coaching education opportunities available to everyone, at every level.

If this is your first time coaching, the USSF Grassroots Coaching Pathway is a great way to get started - the Foundations of Coaching is the starting point, and then they have speciality courses for 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

These classes are offered both on-line, and in-person. Feedback from current coaches is that if you can find a local in-person course, it is well worth your time!

United Soccer Coaches (the largest independent soccer coaching organization in the world) is now also offering a online course for first time coaches - Foundations of Coaching - free for members, and $25 for non-members. They also have an extensive online and in-person catalog of courses offered. If you become a member, you gain access to almost all of their on-line courses for free!

If you are serious about being a soccer coach for the next few years, either pathway is a great start to your journey as you progress along with your kids.
